This April, I was supposed to present a poster at ASU’s Institute for Social Science Research annual poster contest. Instead of cancelling the event, organizers decided to move the contest online utilizing platforms, like Slack, to get participants to engage with one another.
In my poster, I present a framework for quantifying the total cost of plastic pollution intervention strategies, and validate it using two quantitative case studies informed by specific interventions. I also present comparative case studies, informed by a literature review, to explore how the context of implementation affects on total cost of an intervention.
